Please read these instructions before sending in your iPod.

  1. Prepare the iPod for shipment

    Before sending iPod, remove the headphone and any other accessories (holster, etc.) and keep them. Wrap the iPod in a suitably protective enclosure such as a well padded envelope and a small box. Minilec is not responsible for any damage that may occur when your iPod is shipped in.

Please print the form and fill it out.  If you select multiple items, please total them up in the space provided.  You must add 8.25% sales tax if you are in California.  Please indicate that on the form what type of shipping service you desire. You must choose one of the four options and include the selected amount in the total.  If we will be sending your iPod back to the states of Hawaii or Alaska, use $29.95 for shipping.  Incorrect arithmetic will result in a delay, so check your math!

  3. Send your payment and the completed form with the iPod.

    If paying by credit card, please do not forget to sign the form in the place provided. If paying by Check or money order, please do not forget to enclose the check or money order with the iPod and the form. We accept either Visa or MasterCard. We do not accept American Express.

    We recommend you use a carrier with tracking capability such as UPS, Federal Express, etc., and insure the package.  In most cases your iPod will be serviced the same day it arrives here at Minilec.  In cases where correspondence is required, or when there are intermittent symptoms, servicing may take up to 5 business days.

    Repair charges do not include shipment back to you.  iPods sent in for diagnostics require a minimum payment of $29.90, which includes $19.95 for the diagnostic service and $9.95 for return shipping via UPS ground delivery.
